An advanced product that lengthens and thickens eyelashes. Individual eyelash extensions are single extensions that are curved to replicate a natural eyelash. Applied and bonded to each natural individual eyelash on a lash by lash basis to create an instant elegant and luxurious look.
What are Individual Eyelash Extensions?
They are synthetic or mink and are individual lashes that are attached one by one to your natural lashes using high grade glue. Between 60 and 120 lashes are attached to each eye depending on the required look and the amount of natural lashes of the client.
How long does the process take?
The process takes between 1½ – 2hrs for the initial full set, thereafter in-fills can be applied in 1 hour. The treatment is non-invasive, painless and very relaxing. Every client will receive a unique look due to the length, thickness, curvature and colour desired. The lashes will be styled according to the client’s eye shape (A patch test is required minimum of 24 hours beforehand).
How are the lashes applied?
Your eyes will be closed and the bottom lashes will be covered to ensure the top lashes do not adhere to the bottom lashes. Each lash is isolated so that a lash extension can be placed and adhered to the natural lash. This enables the lashes to stay separated and not stick together. The lash extension is placed approximately 1mm away from the lash line so that it is not touching the skin and can freely grow out with the natural lash.
In-fills are required every 3-4 weeks due to the natural lash cycle as lashes shed during a 90 day lash cycle.
